Workshops and Classes

2023 IN-PERSON WORKSHOP for local novice beginner flutists. In two sessions, Rose Johnson will help you get a solid start on the flute with fundamental practice skills and personal instrument-specific help. These two-session limited-size classes will be held in Issaquah, WA, from 10:30-11:30 AM. Attendance at both classes is strongly recommended:

Class Session (option 1): September 16 & September 23

Class Session (option 2): October 7 & October 14

Class fee: $65.00

Required Materials:

• Flute in working order
• music stand
• metronome (Tonal Energy app is terrific).

Join Rose Johnson, flutist, for practice sessions full of practice tips, technical suggestions and playing. This workshop is ideal for early-stage flutists who are able to get a sound on their instrument, play some notes and have a grasp on basic rhythm and time signatures.

This workshop is designed for the Intermediate player who has a range of low C to upper F, and has a firm grasp of key signatures, time signatures and rhythmic notation. It is recommended that you come to the session warmed up and ready to play.

It is recommended that you come to the session warmed up and ready to play.
