Compass Winds takes whimsical and lively cues from the nature that surrounds them in their native Pacific Northwest. The ensemble performs literature from all corners of the wind quintet repertoire, and specializes in recording new works for wind quintet. ​Individuals from the quintet regularly perform in Pacific Northwest ensembles, including Symphony Tacoma, Yakima Symphony, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Tacoma Symphony, the Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra, as well as the Paramount, The 5th Avenue, and Village Theaters.
